Summer Trips - 22-8, Killiecrankie & Loch Fascally

Updated: Oct 4, 2022

Another enjoyable trip, the last of the summer, with two destinations. After a 40 minute drive and a short refueling stop at the Killiecrankie visitors centre, highly recommended for its cream teas, the team walked the woodland path to the pass of Killiecrankie with its famous "Soldiers leap". The leaves were only just beginning to turn so a return trip in the near future may be on the cards once the Autumn colours appear. Nevertheless some opportunities for good shots presented themselves.

The next stop was Loch Fascally beyond the Green Park hotel Pitlochry where a carpark and cafe overlook the Loch, a great location for a sunrise shoot. Further exploration led to different vantage points for photos around the banks of the Loch and the two bridges.
